Sporting Club Delhi play their first home match of the MG ISL 2026-27 on Friday night, as Mohun Bagan Super Giant come to the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
These two met on the final day of last season with the title on the line. Clarence Fernandes put SC Delhi ahead in Kolkata, and although late goals from Manvir Singh and Jamie Maclaren gave Mohun Bagan a 2-1 win, East Bengal won at the same time and took the league on goal difference. SC Delhi arrive off a painful opener in Bengaluru, where they led 2-1 at half-time before losing to an 89th-minute winner, so the Phoenix will be desperate to give their home crowd something to cheer against one of the dominant sides in the league.
