City fought back from a goal down to secure a thrilling 2-1 victory over Real Madrid and move back into the top-eight of the Champions League table.
After falling behind to Rodrygo’s 28th minute strike, City roared back with first half goals from Nico O’Reilly and an Erling Haaland penalty to hold the advantage at the break.
Both sides had chances in a breathless second half but City secured a deserved win that leaves us fourth in the league phase table and in control of our destiny as we aim to claim one of the seeded finishes and avoid the play-offs.
